IN~~R~ST ON ~H~S ~~S~SSM~l~T WI~j, B~G~lN .,..~ ORDINANCE N0. \q ~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ASSESSMENTS FOR PALING ON FIR ACRES ROAD FROM BOND LANE TO WILLAGILLESPIE ROAD: AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19078; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Counc i 1 of the City of Eugene finds that: 0n November 22, 1982, there was passed by the Council and approved by the Mayor, Ordinance No. 19078, levying an estimated assessment against the properties listed on the Assessment Ro11 attached thereto for paving vn~Fir Acres Raad from Bond Lane to Willagillespie Raad. Final costs of the project have been calculated, and pursuant to the prov~s~ons of Sections 1.235 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the Council has by motion declared a deficit in the assessment for Accounts No. 8200280140 and Account No. 8200280210 and established June 4, 1984, as the time for hearin ob~ect~ons to the deficit arse ~ ~ ~ g ssment. Pursuant to the provisions of Sect~an 7.240 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the assessment roll attached to Drdinance No. 19078 should be amended to reflect the reduced assessments for the remaini~n accounts, to ether with new Account 9 9 s No. 8200280141 and 82002$0211 reflecting the deficit amount for Accounts No. 8200284140 and 8200280210. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorporated herein and pur~su~n to the provisions of Sections 7.235 of the Eu ene Code 1971 def~c~t assessment g a ~s hereby declared for Accounts No. 820028D140 and 82DO280210, and Ordinance No. 19018 passed by the Council an November 22 1982 and approved by the Mayor on November 22, 1982, is hereby amended b correctin the assessment roll as attach y g ed hereto to reflect such deficit assessment. Section 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 7.240 of the Eu ene Code 1911, Ordinance No. 19078 ass d b 9 ' p e y the Council and approved by the Mayor on November 22, 1982 is hereby amended by correcting the Assessment Ro11 attached hereto to reflect the reduced assessments far the remainin accounts listed thereon, g Section 3. The finance officer is directed to make the above corrections to the docket of city liens and to send a corrected notice of assessment to the property owners set forth in Sections 1 and 2 above.. Section 4. Except as herein specifically amended, all other rovisions of Ordinance No. 19078 and the as ~ sessments provided for therein remain ~n full force and effect. ORDINANCE - 1
