'l. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />&tablishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br />For the West Side of Orchard Street <br />Between 15th and 17th Avenues <br /> <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations Administrative Rule R-5.040 provides that <br />the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones be effected by administrative order of the <br />City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />B. On August 3, 1992, the City received an application signed by over 50% of the adjacent <br />property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone along the entire east block <br />face of Orchard Street between 15th Avenue and 17th Avenue. <br /> <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone was given to <br />property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br /> <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with the policies, <br />regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in Administrative Rule <br />R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> <br />1. The following described area is hereby established as a residential permit parking zone: <br /> <br />The one block section along the west side of Orchard Street between 15th <br />Avenue and 17th Avenue <br /> <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking between 9:00 <br />a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except Zone A permitted <br />vehicles. <br /> <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone designated herein may <br />apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed <br />parking areas within the designated zone. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Permit applications shall be processed as provided in Administrative Rule R-5.040. <br />PI <br />Dated this 23'-- day of September, 1992 <br /> <br />7 <br />1~.]i1j)l <br /> <br />, Brant Williams, Traffic Engineer <br /> <br />Administrative Order <br />
