<br />Administrative Order No. 58- t:f~-IY <br />of the <br />City Manager <br /> <br />Establishing the Direction of Tramc Flow on Olive Street <br />Between 8th and 10th Avenues and Directing the Erection of <br />Signs Therefor. <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. On April 15, 1992, Ordinance No. 19841 was adopted by the Council and <br />approved by the Mayor which provided in Sections 1 and 2 thereof for the removal of the <br />restrictions on vehicular traffic on Olive Street within the pedestrian mall. <br /> <br />B. The effectiveness of Ordinance No. 19841 was dependent upon the approval <br />of a Measure on whether to reopen Olive Street by the electors of the City at an election <br />held on May 19, 1992. That Measure was passed, and Ordinance No. 19841 became <br />effective on May 19, 1992. <br /> <br />Now, therefore, based on the above findings, which are adopted herein, <br /> <br />THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF EUGENE ORDERS AND DIRECTS <br />THAT: <br /> <br />1. Olive Street, between 8th and 10th Avenues within the City of Eugene is <br />hereby designated as open for through traffic traveling in both a northerly and southerly <br />direction thereon. <br /> <br />2. The City's Traffic Engineer is directed to cause appropriate signs and/or <br />signals to be installed thereon apprising the public of the directions of traffic flow. <br /> <br />Dated this ~day of October, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />Administrative Order <br />
