<br />SB-9S-14 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />Establishing a Residential Per.mit Parking Zone <br />For the South Side of W Broadway <br />Between Washington Street and Lawrence Street <br /> <br />The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations, <br />provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br />by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />B. On February 8, 1995, the City received an application signed by over 50% of <br />the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone <br />for the south side of W Broadway between Washington and Lawrence Streets. <br /> <br />C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone <br />was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br /> <br />D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with <br />the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> <br />zone: <br /> <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking <br /> <br />The The one block section of W Broadway on the south side between Washington <br />and Lawrence Streets. <br /> <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public parking <br />between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br />Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br /> <br />4. <br />R-5.040. <br /> <br />Dated this~ day of August, 1995 <br /> <br />Permit applications shall be processed as provided in Administrative Rule <br /> <br /> <br />Administrative Order <br />
