S ':~ - (1 ci - 1'7 of the Executive Director of the Public Works Department Delegating Authority to Sign Permits and Other Documents Relating to the City's National Pollution Discharge Elimination Permit (NPDES) to the Wastewater Treatment Division Director. tha t: The Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene finds A. The City Manager has previously delegated to me, as Executive Director of the City's Public Works Department, authority to perform the duties and responsibilities of the City Manager under the City's National Pollution Discharge Elimination Permit (NPDES). That delegation specifically included authority to sign NPDES permit applications and monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports on behalf of the City. B. The activities to which the NPDES permit apply are administered by the Wastewater Treatment Division of the City's Public Works Department, and it would be more efficient and in the public interest to authorize the Director of that Division to perform the duties previously delegated to me by the City Manager. Now, therefore, based on the above findings, which are hereby adopted, The Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene Orders that: 1. The duties, responsibility and authority delegated by the City Manager to me as Executive Director of the Public Works Department to perform the duties and responsibilities of the City Manager under the City's NPDES Permit, specifically including the authority to sign NPDES Permit applications and monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports on behalf of the City is hereby delegated to the Director of the Wastewaster Treatment Division of the City's Public Works Department. 2. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the public interest to do so, the Director of the Wastewater Treatment Division of the City's Public Works Department is specifically authorized to in turn delegate any of the duties or responsibilities delegated herein to such person or persons qualified to perform the delegated duties. 3.
