ORDINANCE NO. ~C__~~_~`~~ AN ORDINANCE AIITHORI Z I NG EXECUTION OF F®IIR BARGAIN AND SALE DEEDS TO LANE COUNTY, OREGON F4R STREET PURPOSES; A~dD DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The City Council of the City of .Eugene finds that: A, Under the provisions of Oregon Laws, 1983, Ch ~~~, Section 1, appraval~by Ordinance is necessary prior to the con- veyance of publicly owned real property, B, Lane County is in the process of improving South willa~ mette Street from 52nd Avenue to Fox Hollow Road, and in order to accomplish the intended improvements, ded:ica~t~~.on of additional right of way across lands belonging.. to the City of Eugene is necessary. C, The area of the intended improvements presently consti- tutes a hazardous condition, and it would be in the public interest for the City of Eugene to donate the necessary right of way across City-owned land to Lane County, NOS, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~'S: Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorpor- ated herein, and pursuant to his authority under the City Charter, the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the four Bargain and Sale Deeds to Lane County, copies of which are attached as.Exhibits A, B, C, and D hereto and incorporated herein, for the uses and purposes therein contained, Section Z.
