lq~ sy
public, Nor. Reinhard stated that the city is focusing on those
streets which are used as connectors from one area to another, He
agreed that it would be preferable to have sidewalks on all
streets, but that process must begin somewhere. He also stated
that the city would be willing to work with property owners to
arrange placement of the sidewalks to reduce the impact to
existing shrubbery as much as possible.
He also stated that property owners can undertake to build
the sidewalks themselves, if the project is approved by the
Hearings official and ultimately the City Council. He stated
that Bancrofting would be available if the city did install the
sidewalks. In response to a question, he stated that the current
rate of interest for- Bancrofting is 14~.
Respectfully submitted,
~~
Jack A. Billings Hearings Official
-4-
