ORDINANCE hO.19288 An Ordinance Changing Tivey-Wheeler Road to Goodpasture Island Road The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: The Planning Commission of the City of Eugene did, on October 8, 1984, recommend to the City Council of the City of Eugene that the street known as Tivey~-Wheeler Road be changed to Goodpasture Island Road. Notice of a public hearing to be held on the 17th day of October, 1984 in the Council Chambers, City Hail, Eugene, Oregon, at 11:45 a.m. of said day, was duly published in the Eugene Register Guard, a newspaper of general citrcul ati an wi thi n the city, at 1 east once during the week immediately re- ceedin the herein t ~ .p . g g , A that time and place, the Council heard all ab~ec- t~ons and comments with respect to the change of name of Tivey-Wheeler Road to Goadpasture Island Road. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and regular notice of the. hearing on the change of name of Tivey--wheeler Road to Goodpasture Island Road was published as by law required and that na valid objections have been made at the hearing or filed herein, and the public interest will not be prejudiced by the change of name. Section ~. The name and designation of the present Tivey-Wheeler Road as described in Exhibit A, attached, is hereby changed to Goodpasture Island Road. Section 3. The City Manager shall cause appropriate signs to be instal- led ~nd~cat~ng that Tivey-Wheeler Road is now Goadpasture Island Road. Sectian 4. That certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Recorder, Lane County Assessor, and the Lane County Surveyor.
