<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER - '5~-a\-D~ <br />of the <br />Traffic Bngineer of the City of Bugene, Oregon <br /> <br />Bstablishing a Residential Per.mit Parking Zone <br />For the South Side of W au Avenue Between Lawrence and Lincoln Streets <br /> <br />The Traffic Bngineer of the City of Bugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. Administrative Rule R-S.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br />Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br />zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />B. On November 28, 2000, the City received a staff request to extend the <br />existing Zone E to include the entire south side of W 8th Avenue between Lawrence <br />and Lincoln Streets to reflect the change by the excluded eastern properties from <br />commercial to residential. <br /> <br />C. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br />with the policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-S.040. <br /> <br />NOW, THBRBFORB, <br /> <br />Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br />Administrative Rule R-S.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br />that: <br /> <br />1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br />parking zone: <br /> <br />The entire south side of W 8th Avenue's 300 block. <br /> <br />2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br />parking between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br />holidays and except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> <br />3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br />designated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br />preferential long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br />designated zone. <br /> <br />4.
