A first aid vehicle or invalid or or wheelchair coach operator shall supervise his or her employes, inspect his or her equipment to assure that at all times it meets the requirements of this code, and maintain a record of all equipment inspections that sha11 be available for review by the city upon 24 hour notice in writ- ing. The operator shall not permit a person who is under the influence of intoxicating liquor.or drug to drive an ambulance, first aid vehicle, or invalid or wheelchair coach, or to accompany the same as an attendant. 1n Zn the event an employe violates a provision of this chapter, the operator may be held responsible and his or her license may be revoked for the viola- tions. 3. g~D penal ti es - S eci f i c. ~5} 1n addition to any other procedures and remedies provided by law, violation of sections 3.115 to 3.145 shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000. Section 5. Sections 3.130, 3.140, 3.150, 3.152, and 3.155 of the Eugene Code, 1971, are hereby repealed. Section 6. That the matters contained herein concern the public health, welfare, and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
