A first aid vehicle or invalid or <br />or wheelchair coach operator shall supervise his or her employes, <br />inspect his or her equipment to assure that at all times it meets the <br />requirements of this code, and maintain a record of all equipment inspections <br />that sha11 be available for review by the city upon 24 hour notice in writ- <br />ing. The operator shall not permit a person who is under the influence of <br />intoxicating liquor.or drug to drive an ambulance, first aid vehicle, or <br />invalid or wheelchair coach, or to accompany the same as an attendant. 1n <br />Zn the event an employe violates a provision of this chapter, the operator <br />may be held responsible and his or her license may be revoked for the viola- <br />tions. <br />3. g~D penal ti es - S eci f i c. <br />~5} 1n addition to any other procedures and remedies provided by <br />law, violation of sections 3.115 to 3.145 shall be punished by a fine not to <br />exceed $1,000. <br />Section 5. Sections 3.130, 3.140, 3.150, 3.152, and 3.155 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, are hereby repealed. <br />Section 6. That the matters contained herein concern the public health, <br />welfare, and safety and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, <br />and this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the <br />City Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Qrdinance - ~ <br />
