CIII fILE NO. 5'~-q \-2:3~ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER of the City Manager of the City of Eugene ESTABLISIDNG SPECIAL EVENT FEES FOR SECURI1Y AGENCIES The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: 1. Section 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of municipal property, and licenses and permits. 2. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on May 10, 1991 I notified the Mayor and City Council that I intended to establish fees for administering security agency special event applications, licenses and certifications, as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A thereto and incorporated therein by reference. The Notice was posted at two locations at City Hall on May 14, 1991, was also provided to current Security Agency licensees, and made available for interested persons at the offices of the City's Planning & Development Department, Permit Services Division. The Notice advised persons desiring to comment thereon to submit the same in writing within 15 days from that date of posting. No comments have been received within the time or in the manner required by the Notice. 3. I find that the fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, and although they do not recover 100% of the cost of administering the security agency special event licensing and certification program, it is projected that this goal will be achieved within three years through adjustments to the fees over that period of time. On the basis of these findings, I order that: The fees set forth on Exhibit A hereto are hereby established as the fees to be charged for the indicated services in connection with Special Event Fees for Security Agencies.
