<br />CITY FILE NO. ~3 - g z -t 2.- <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />of the <br />Director of Planning & Development Department <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />The Director of the Planning & Development Department of the City of <br />Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. In addition to the duties and responsibilities authorized or re- <br />quired to be performed by me as Director of the City's Planning and Develop- <br />ment Department under provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, Micheal D. <br />Gleason, City Manager of the City of Eugene, has by Administrative Order <br />delegated to me the duties and responsibilities to be performed by the City <br />Manager under Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, except: <br /> <br />1. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rules author- <br />ized therein; <br /> <br />2. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any fees or fee <br />schedules authorized therein; and <br /> <br />3. The City Manager's decision making authority with respect <br />to appeals and determinations to implement legal proceedings on behalf <br />of the City under Sections 9.1182 or 9.1186 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> <br />B. That Administrative Order further specifically authorized me to in <br />turn delegate any of the duties or responsibilities delegated to me therein. <br /> <br />C. It would be more efficient, and in the public interest to delegate <br />those duties and responsibilities as hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE DIRECTOR OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF <br />EUGENE ORDERS AND DIRECTS THAT: <br /> <br />1. The above findings are adopted. <br /> <br />2. The duties, responsibilities, and authority delegated to me as <br />Director of Planning & Development by the City Manager to carry out the City <br />Manager's duties and responsibilities under Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, except those duties specifically reserved to the City Manager as re- <br />ferred to in Finding A above, are hereby delegated to the Building and Permit <br />Services Division Manager. <br /> <br />3. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the pu blic interest <br />to do so, the Building and Permit Services Division Manager may in turn dele- <br />gate any of the duties and responsibilities delegated to him/her herein to <br />such person as he/she considers qualified to perform the duty or assume the <br />responsibility. <br /> <br />Dated this J~ ~ day of June 1992 <br /> <br />~b~ <br /> <br /><u<- <br /> <br />Director of Planning & <br />Development Department <br />
