ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. S' 3 - q 4 .- I .~
of the
City Manager
City of Eugene, Oregon

APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CONSTRUCTION
CODE BOARD OF APPEALS

The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that:

A. Subsection (7)( c) of Section 8.005 of the Eugene Code, 1971 authorizes the
City Manager to create a Construction Code Board of Appeals consisting of members
qualified by experience and training to act upon matters pertaining to building construction
and building service equipment. That subsection further provides that Board members may
not be employees of the City, and that the number of Board members, the manner of
appointment, and the terms of office shall be established by administrative order of the City
Manager.

B. Pursuant to that authority, on February 3, 1994 the City Manager adopted
Administrative Order 53-93-29-E which provides in Subsection 7.3.3 that the Board shall
consist of seven members, who shall serve for the term indicated at the time of appointment,
or until his/her successor has been appointed (Subsection 7.3.5), as indicated in the City
Manager's administrative order appointing the members (Subsection 7.3.6).

C. Because the terms of some members of the Board have expired, it is necessary
to appoint members to fill those vacancies.

Now, therefore, based upon the above findings, which are hereby adopted,

The City Manager of the City of Eugene orders and directs that:

1. Current Board member Bill Brackman is hereby reappointed to the
Construction Code Board of Appeals, and Christine Moulds, Frederic Wittkop, and Barrie
Haanen are hereby appointed thereto, so that the following constitutes the City of Eugene's
Construction Code Board of Appeals. Each member shall serve for the term indicated, or
until his/her successor has been appointed:

Construction Code Board of Appeals

Oualification

Member

Thrm Expires

Architect:

Jim Lewis
gLAs Architectural Group
~ O.
