<br />CITY FILE NO. ~ '/- 77. -(? / <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />Under section 16(2) of the Eugene Charter, the City Manager is given authority to <br />make purchases and act as a business agent for the City Council in connection with the <br />sale of real estate and other business and commercial transactions. The City Manager <br />previously delegated portions of this authority to the various city department Executive <br />Managers or their designees. <br /> <br />It is the intention of the City to: <br /> <br />A. Provide for uniform and consistent processing of contracts. <br /> <br />B. Minimize the time and attention required of the City Mana- <br />ger for routine contracts. <br /> <br />C. Clearly define areas of responsibility with regard to initiation, <br />execution and administration of contracts. <br /> <br />Based on the above, the Executive Manager of <br /> <br />Eugene Public Library <br />orders that: <br /> <br />1. The following designees have contract authority as noted: <br /> <br />Designee <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />Assistant City Librarian <br /> <br />$25,000.00 <br /> <br />2.
