<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />56-99-01 <br /> <br />Under section 16(2) of the Eugene Charter, the City Manager is given authority to make <br />purchases and act as a business agent for the City Council in connection with the sale of real <br />estate and other business and commercial transactions. The City Manager previously delegated <br />portions of this authority to the various city department Executive Managers or their designees. <br /> <br />It is the intention of the City to: <br /> <br />A. Provide for uniform and consistent processing of contracts. <br /> <br />B. Minimize the time and attention required of the City Manager for routine <br />contracts. <br /> <br />C. Clearly define areas of responsibility with regard to initiation, execution and <br />administration of contracts. <br /> <br />Based upon the above, the Executive Manager of the Police Department orders that: <br /> <br />1.
