187 ?9 <br />6.994 Penalties - S ecific. <br />t3~ Violation of section G..3p5 to and including sec- <br />tion 6..314 is punishable by a fine of a minimum of $144 to a <br />maximum of $4,404 for each tree removed, ar confinement in fail <br />not to exceed 144 days, or both fine and imprisonment. In <br />addition, the city attorney, upon request of the city manager, <br />shall institute any necessary legal proceedings to enforce the <br />provisions of sections 6.345 and 6.314 of this code. <br />Section 5. The Council directs that the foregoing penalty pro-- <br />visions be enforced in a manner that serves to deter violations of <br />section 6.345 to and including section x.314.
