1819.6 <br />Section 2. If voters approve this Measure, the Downtown <br />Development Board will be able to continue to provide FREE <br />parking for patrons of the Downtown area. The cost for pro- <br />viding this service is paid partly by taxation on property owners <br />within the Downtown Development District boundaries and is not <br />supported by taxes outside these boundaries. If this ~~easure <br />is approved, all of the tax will be financed by District taxpayers <br />without any partial payment by the State <br />Section 3. Measure authorizes $ 1,260,185 property <br />tax outside 19$1-$2 Charter limit far general city operations <br />during the tax year July 1, 1981 - June 30, 19$2, with tax to <br />be financed partly by State of Oregon. <br />Section 2. This measure authorizes a property tax levy <br />of $17760,185 for general City operations during July 1, 1981 - <br />June 34, 1982. This levy is within the voter approved tax base <br />and will be financed partly by the State of Oregon. <br />19$1. <br />Section 3. This Measure shall become effective July 1, <br />Section 2. The proposed measures shall be placed upon the official <br />ballot by the City Recorder. There shall be furnished to the County <br />Clerk for Lane County a certified copy of the ballot titles for the <br />measures and numbers of the measures to be voted upon.
