oRDINANCE No. ~88~3 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE JOINT HQUSING <br />COMMITTEE; AMENDING SECTION 2.413 of ThE EUGENE <br />CODE, 1971; AND DECBARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />THE CITY of EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FoLI~owS: <br />Section 1. The citizen membership on the Joint Housing Committee, <br />as set forth in the table of City Boards, Commissions and Committees <br />in Section 2.013 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, is hereby amended to provide <br />for l member from a recognized neighborhood organization appointed by <br />the Council, and changing the designation of 3 citizens to 4 citizens, <br />interviewed and appointed by the Council. <br />Section 2, Sections 3 and 4 of ordinance ~Jo. 18788 adopted by <br />the Council on May 13, 1981 amended the citizen membership designa-~ <br />tion on the Joint Housing Committee, However, the table of City Boards, <br />Commissions and Committees as contained in Section 2,013 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971 was not amended at that t%me, and in order to avoid confu-- <br />sion and eliminate conflict in provisions of the Eugene Cade, 1971, a <br />public need exists to amend Section 2.013 so that it conforms with <br />the provisions of Section 2.254 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and, there- <br />fore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance <br />shall become effective immediately upon its passage by the City Coun- <br />cil and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />~~t~':day of une -_- ~- -, 1951 <br />• r~r r <br />City Recorded <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />~ Oth day of June 19 81 <br />Counci ~ Press dent, ~Act~ ng Mayor <br />ordinance - <br />
