Cooper - EV 81- 4 } THE CITY OF EUGENE DOSS ORDArN AS FOLLOWS: Section l~. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein ini- bates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti- tian ar consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute, of the above described drainage easement. Section 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate the drainage easement as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the 29th day of July, 1981, at noon Pacific Daylight Time of said date, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, Eugene, Oregon, at which time a~,l persons will be heard upon objections or sugges-- bans with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council will provide for the ~racation of the drainage easement or deny such vaca- tion, and in case the vacation is made, will provide and make provi- sion for any damages sustained by local assessment. Section 3. The City Recorded is hereby directed to immediately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper pub- lished in Eugene, Lane County, Qregon, notice of the proposed vaca- tion. Thenoticeshall give a descript~,on of the area to be vacated as herein set .out; state the date when this ordinance was passed, the name of any petitioners petition.~ng for th.e vacation, and the date Ordinance -~ 1
