Z 81-9 <br />Area 1 <br />ORDINANCE N0. `$ $ S$ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.218 and 9.665 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authroity and <br />responsi bi 1 i ty, subject to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to change the <br />zoning c] assi f i cati on of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Cammission, the materials <br />transmitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Cammission <br />and this City Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n con- <br />formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of August 11, 1981 and the Pl anni~ng Commission minutes. of August 11, 198] <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 100 , 101, 300 , 400 , 500 , 600 , lDD ~, 800 , 9O0 , l 00D , 1100 , 1404 , <br />1500, 1600, and 1100-Assessor's Map 11-03-17-1 4; Tax Lot ]00--Assessor's <br />Map 17-D3-11-4 1, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "~", <br />located west of Coburg Road, north and south of Crescent Raad. <br />Change of zone from R-1 Low-density Residential District to R-2/SR Limited <br />Mu1 ti p1 e-Family Residential District with Site Review Procedures , sai d <br />site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit "B",attached. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
