i` ORDINANCE N0. ~~ AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: I 81-9 y Area 2 Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning c 1 as s i f i cat i on of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- form ante with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of August 11, 1981 and the Planning Commission .r~inutes of August 11, 1981 for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fallowing change of zone: Portions of Tax Lots 101, 103, and 1203--Assessor's Map~l7-03-16; and Tax Lat 4000--Assessor's Map 17-03-09-3 0, as more particularly described an the attached Exhibit "A," located east of Old Coburg Road and Game Farm Road, north of Beltline Road. Change of zone from County AGT Agriculture, Grazing, and Timber-Raising D~str~ct to R-11PD LowwDensity Residential District with Planned Unit Development Procedures. Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the foregoing ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2
