ti <br />Z 81-9 <br />r~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~g~Q <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP of THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS ZZ7.Z15 and Sections 9.Z7S and 9.668 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- <br />formance with the General P1 an; there i s a publ is need for the change in zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />s ecific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />p t of Au ust 11 1951 <br />of August 11, 1981 and the Planning Comm~ss~on menu es g , <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />~. <br />. Section 1. As provided by Section 9.218 of the Eugene Code, 197 ,the <br />zoning am p a~ the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone: <br />r: <br />Tax Lot ZQO, portions of Tax Lots lOl and 143--Assessor's Map 17-03-16, <br />as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A," located south <br />of Hillview Lane 1, east of Game Farm Road, and Old Coburg Road, and north <br />of Beltline Road. <br />Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, and Timber-Raising <br />District and County RA Suburban Residential District, to R-ZIPD Limited <br />Multiple-Family Residential District .with Planned Dnit Development <br />Procedures. <br />Section Z, The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized a~~~d directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of Z <br />
