1, <br />z 81-9 <br />Arm <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN <br />DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and <br />9.668 through 9.fi84 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the <br />zoning and sign district classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Council, the request for zone change and sign district change of <br />classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need <br />for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the <br />classif~cat~on of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of August 11, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of August 11, <br />1981, for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1, As provided by Sections 9.278 and 8.625 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lot 300, portion of Tax Lot 141--Assessor's Map 17-03-16, as more <br />particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A," located east of Coburg <br />and north of Beltline Road. <br />Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, and Timber-Raising <br />District to C-2lSR Community-Commercial District with Site Review Proce- <br />dures, said site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in <br />Exhibit "B," attached, and a sign district classification of integrated <br />Shopping District. <br />ORDINANCE-Page 1 of 2 <br />
