AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE AND SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and 9.668 through 9.fi84 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the zoning and sign district classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change and sign district change of classification is in conformance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classif~cat~on of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of August 11, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of August 11, 1981, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1, As provided by Sections 9.278 and 8.625 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: Tax Lot 300, portion of Tax Lot 141--Assessor's Map 17-03-16, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A," located east of Coburg and north of Beltline Road. Change of zone from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, and Timber-Raising District to C-2lSR Community-Commercial District with Site Review Proce- dures, said site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit "B," attached, and a sign district classification of integrated Shopping District.
