S~Sg''-'i AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: S Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227,215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 through, 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Cauncil has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to chap e . g the zoning class~ficat~on of property w~th~n the City of Eugene; . _ Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classificatian is in con- formance with the General P1 an; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; .~,. NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of September 1, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of September 1, 1981, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.218 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the zoning map an the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the fol 1 awi ng change of zone: Tax Lots 100, 200, 300--Assessor's Map 17-03-33-4 4; Tax Lots 200, 300, 400, 500, 500--Assessor's Map 17-03-34-3 3; Tax Lot 500--Assessor's Map 17-03-34-3 4; Tax Lots 100, 2700, 2800--Assessor's flap 15-03-03-2, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located on the south side of Franklin Boulevard, the west side of Glenwood Boulevard, and the southeast side of Glenwood Boulevard.
