f F <br />/~ f *~ ~ yl <br />Z81-13 <br />-f <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING~LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND ~` <br />AMENDING THE zONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.218 and 9.668 <br />through 9.6$4 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- r <br />formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of October 6, 1981 and the Planning Commission minutes of October 6, 1981, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and , <br />THE CITY oF~EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fallowing change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 1200, 1300, and 1400--Assessor's Map 18-03-07-1 2, as mare par- <br />ticularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located west of Portland <br />Street, south of West 29th Place. <br />Change of zone from R-A Suburban Residential District to R-21SR Limited <br />Multiple-Family Residentia] District with Site Review procedures, such <br />site review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit B, <br />attached. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 ~ ~ l <br />
