Az 81-4 <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ggac~ <br />AN ORDINANCE .CONCERNING LAND USE C-LASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY GF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.278, and -~ <br />9.668 through 9.684 of the Eugene Cvde, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning c 1 ass i f i c at i on of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this City Counci 1, the request for zone change c1 ass i f i cat i on i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff <br />notes of November 3, 1981, and Planning Commission minutes of November 3, <br />1981, for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.625 and 9.218 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, the zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to ref 1 ect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone and sign 'district <br />Tax Lots 400, 1040--Assessor's Map 11-04-15-2 3, as more particularly <br />described an the attached Exhibit A, located west of Highway 99 North, <br />south of Belt1ine and north of Jessen Drive: <br />Change of zone from County M-1 Limited Industrial District and M-21SR <br />Light Industrial District with site review procedures to City M-21SR <br />Light Industrial Di str i ct~ with site review procedures, said site review <br />procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit B attached and <br />application of City Industrial sign district. . <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />became effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
