7 n~ 1 c <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />r <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 _.. <br />through 9,684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change - <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- <br />. formance with the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zone; <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the . <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of October 13, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of October 13, 1981, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and .~ . <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DDES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />~~ ~ r <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.218 of .the Eugene Code., 1971, the - <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedu1 e of district changes are hereby ~ ~ ~ ~. <br />amended to ref]ect the following change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 6600, 6100, 6800, 6900, 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300--Assessor's <br />map 18-03-06-3 3, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit <br />"A," located an the west side of Monroe Street, south of 27th Avenue: <br />Change of zone from RA Suburban Residential District to R-2110A Limited <br />Multiple Family Residential District with a density limitation of ten <br />units per acre. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be and is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing change of <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
