r <br />AZ gl_3 <br />ORDINANCE No. <br />_. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 8.813, 9.275, and .' ~_:-~ <br />9.6fi8 through 9.684 of the Eugene Cade, 1911, ~ the City Council has the authori ty <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change .~T:~... <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; . ~ ~ ..: <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and ~ ~. <br />this City Council , the request for zone change c1 assi f i cati on i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />' public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the` specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff - ~ , <br />notes of November 3, 1981, and Planning Commission minutes of November 3, 1981', <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and = <br />THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ~ ~~ <br />Section 1. As provided by Sections 8.fi25 and 9.215 of the Eugene Code, ~~ . <br />1911, t e zoning map, the sign district map, and the zoning ordinance schedule ,~ <br />of district changes and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone and sign district: <br />Tax Lot 300 and a portion of 100--Assessor's Map 18-03-04w3 1, as more <br />particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, located east of Capital <br />Drive and west of Floral Hill Drive: <br />Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City <br />RA~PD Suburban Resi denti a] District t~i;th Planned Unit Devel o~Oment - • <br />procedures and Residentia] Sign District <br />Section 2. The zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />became effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory. described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br /> <br />Section 3.
