F , <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE. FINDS THAT. <br />z 81-15 <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS ZZ7.Zl5, Section 9,278 and 9,668 ~~ <br />through 9.684,of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City,Counci] has the authority ~ _~ <br />and respons ~ b~ l ~ ty, subs ec~t to the 1 i mi tati ons contained ther~.i r~ ,~~.to~~.change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this Council, the request for zone change classification i~s i~n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property;. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as~ its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department Fi ndi ngs~ of . <br />November 16, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of October 6, November 3, <br />and November l6, 1981, the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section l . As provided by Section 9 . Z18 of the Eugene Code , l 971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district chan es are hereb <br />9 y <br />amended to .reflect the following change of zone: <br />Portion of Tax Lots l 108, l l 09, 11 l 1, l Z00, and l ZO1--Assessor's <br />Map 17-04-35, as more particularly described on the attached <br />Exhibit "A", located on the north side of West 11th Avenue, <br />west of Seneca <br />Change of zone from M-l/SR Limited Industrial District with <br />Site Review procedures portion of Tax Lots llll and 12013 and <br />M-2 Light Industrial District portion of Tax Lots 1108, 1109, <br />and 1200} to C-Z/SR Community Commercial District with Site <br />Review procedures, said site review procedures addressing <br />concerns as set forth in Exhibit "B", attached. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of Z <br />
