7 R1-~n <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibi 1 ity, subject to the 1 imitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Omission <br />and this City Council, the request far zone change classification is in con- <br />formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone, <br />and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the <br />property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes <br />of December 1, 1981, and the Planning Commission minutes of December 1, 1981, <br />for the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DUES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and the ~zoni ng ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to ref 1 ect the fo 11 awe ng change of zone <br />Tax Lot 640O~~Assessor's Map 18-03-06-4 1, as more particularly described <br />on the attached Exhibit A, located on the north side of 25th Avenue <br />between Wi 11 amen e and Port 1 and streets <br />Change of zone from R-2 Limited Multiple-Family Residential District to <br />R-31SR Multiple-Family Residential District with Site Review procedures, <br />said Site Review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit B, <br />attached . <br />Section 2. The Planning Director i s hereby authorized and directed to <br />cause the zan i ng map and the zan i ng ordinance sched u 1 e of district changes <br />attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
