.~ '!r - <br />Z 18-10 <br />ORDINANCE N0. t$gb$1_ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND l1SE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENnINr THE TONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON; <br />REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 1$214; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY DF EIJGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Because of a scri vener's error i n the 1 egal description, Ordinance No. <br />18214, adapted on June 26, 19l$, did not reflect the change of zoning recommended <br />by the Planning Commission and intended by the City Council to effectuate. <br />Therefore, Ordinance No. 15214 should be repealed and the zoning designation <br />changed as reflected herein. ~____ <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 9.27$ and 9,66$ through 9.6$4 of <br />the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, <br />subject to the 1 ir~itatians contained therein, to change the zoning cl assi f ica- <br />tion of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Counci 1 hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff <br />notes of Apri 1 11, 1918, ana the Planning Comr~~i ss i on Phi notes of A ri 1 11 1978 <br />for the reasons set forth p <br />there n, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 18214, adopted by the City Council on June 26, <br />191$, i s hereby repealed . <br />Section 2. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the <br />Zoning Map and the zoning Ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to ref 1 ect the following change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 201, 204, 205, 207, 248, and 209--Assessor's Nlap 17-04-33 and <br />Tax Lot 4OOh--Assessor's Map 17-04-34, as mare particularly described on <br />the attached Exhibit A, located at the northeast corner of West 11th <br />Avenue and Beltline Road. <br />Change of zone from M-2 Lignt Industrial District and M~-J Neavy Industrial <br />District and C-2/pD Community Commercial District with Planned Unit <br />Development procedures to C-2/PD Community Commercial District with <br />Planned Unit Development procedures. <br />5ectian 3.
