AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE zONING MAP 4F THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 221.215 and Sections 9.278 and 9.668 through 9,684,of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Council has the authority ~~__ and responslb~l~ty, subject to the limit ations contained therein, to change the zoning class~f~cat~on of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this City Council, the request for zone change classification is in con- formance with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its awn the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff notes of April 6, 1982, and the Planning Commission minutes of April 6, 1982, for the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: . Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the zoning map and .the zoning ordnance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone: Tax Lots 100, 103, 300--Assessor's map 17-03-33-21 and Tax Lot 1300-~- Assessor's map 17-03-28 3, as more particularly described on the attached Exhibit "A," located south of Centennial Boulevard, between Alton Baker Park and Chevy Chase subdivision: Change of zone from County RA Suburban Residential District to City RA Suburban Residential District. Section 2. The Planning Director is hereby authorized and directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing ORDINANCE--Pagel of 2
