ORDINANCE NO. ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING INTEREST RATES; AMENDING <br />SECTION 2.022 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2.022 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended to read and provide: <br />2.022 Interest Rates. Except as provided in section 2.023 <br />and for assessments deferred under section 7.205, and <br />notwithstanding any provision in this code to the contrary, <br />the interest rate per annum on all amounts due the city shall <br />be established by administrative order of the city manager or <br />his designee within the maximum authorised by law, if appli- <br />cable. <br />Section 2.
