ORDINANCE NO. ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING INTEREST RATES; AMENDING <br />SECTION 2.022 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2.022 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended to read and provide: <br />2.022 Interest Rates. Except as provided in section 2.023 <br />and for assessments deferred under section 7.205, and <br />notwithstanding any provision in this code to the contrary, <br />the interest rate per annum on all amounts due the city shall <br />be established by administrative order of the city manager or <br />his designee within the maximum authorised by law, if appli- <br />cable. <br />Section 2. That the matters contained herein concern the public <br />welfare and therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and <br />this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this <br />29th day of September, 1952 <br />~~~~~y <br />City Tteco r <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br />of Septe er, 1982 <br />May r <br />ordinance. <br />
