He said it was wrong to put the cost of cleaning up waterways on a very <br />few people and he would not support the ordinance. <br /> <br />Councilor Poling asked what it would cost the City to acquire the property necessary to meet the proposal. <br />Ms. Walch said the cost estimate for a conservation easement approach was provided at the council’s <br />January 28, 2009, work session as an alternative to a regulatory approach.
