AN ORDINANCE CONCER~i~ING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND Afr1ENDING THE ZONING SAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGO~~ THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY aF EUGENE F I ~~DS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions. of ORS 227.215, Section 9.278 and 9, 668 through 9.654 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Cour~ci l has the authori t y and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to thane g the zani ng classification of property wi thin the City of Eugene; Based upon. the report of the Planning Cor~mi ssi on, the materials trans-- m~ tted therew~ th, and the eve dente presented before the P] anni ng Commission and this Caunci ~ , the request for zone change classification ~ s i n conformance wi th the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zane; and the ublic P need can best be served by changing the cl assi fi cati on~ of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff 1Ente~ of June 5, 1979, and Planning Commission minutes of June 5, 1979, far the reasons set forth therein, and THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.Z1S of the Eugene Code, 1911, the zoning map and the zoning, ordnance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the fol l owl ng change of zone: Tax Lot 12Q6--Assessor's ~~ap 17--Q3-O1, Tax Lots 150U, 1501, 15U2, 1503, and 1505--Assessor's flap 17-03-11, Tax Lots 1300, ~3U1, 1302, and 1303, Assessor's Chap 11--03-08, as r~ore particul arty described on the attadhed.
