SDBC 19w3 <br />ORDINANCE N0. _~~~g~, <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING~SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, <br />OREGDN . <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215 and Section 8.813 through <br />8.545 of the Eugene .Code, 1971, the City Cauncll has the autha rity <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the sign district class~ficatians of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Com~i ssi on, the mater? al s trans~- <br />mi tted therewith, and the ,evidence presented before the PI anni ng . Commi.ssi on and <br />th.i s Counci 1, the request for sign district change of classification i s i n <br />conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section <br />8.530 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br />NOS, ~ THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Cauncll hereby adapts as its awn <br />the specific affirmative findings ,contained i n the Planning Department Staff <br />Notes of June 5, 1979, and the Planning Commission minutes of June 5, 1979, for <br />the reasons set forth herein, and <br />THE CITY OF. EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~fS: ~ . <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 8.625 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />sign district. map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of sign district: <br />Tax Lot 12100~rtAssessor' s Map 17~03~-303 3 Zoned R~3 Mul ti pl e~Fami ly <br />Residential D7 stri ct ~ , as more particularly described on the attached <br />Exhibit "A,"located on the south side of West 3rd Avenue between Adams <br />and Jackson streets. <br />S7 gn District Boundary Change from Industrial.
