AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION l ~ AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: . Pursuant to the provisions of OPS 221.215 and Section 8.813 through . ~ 8.845 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Counci] has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the sign district cl assi fi cati on.s of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Cammi ssi on, the materi a1 s trans . mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this Council , the request for sign district change of ~c1 assi fi cati on i s i n conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Cade as required by Section 8.830 of the Eugene Code, 1911. NO~~, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as Its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes of June 5, 1919, and the. Planning Commission minutes of June 5, 1919, fiar .the reasons set forth herein, and . THE CITY OF EUGENE ODES ORDAIN AS FOLLOI~S: Section 1.
