~nnr+ ~n ~ n <br />ORDNANCE NC. ~. <br />. .~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CCNCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION <br />AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, <br />CREGON <br />THE QITY COUNCIL CF THE ,CITY CF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of CRS ~~7.Z15 and Section $.813 through <br />8. S45 of the Eugene Code, X971, the City Counc i ~ has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the sign district classifications of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materi a1 s trans- <br />muted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this Caunc i l , ,the request for sign district change of classification i s i n <br />conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Sectio n <br />8.83Q of the Eugene Cade, 1971. .~ <br />NCW, THEREFQRE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own <br />the specific affirmative findings ~contai ned i n the Planning Department Staff <br />Notes of June 5, X919, and the P1 anni ng Commission minutes of June 5, 1979, fa.r <br />the reasons .set forth herein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FCLLOWS: <br />. Section 1, As provided by Section 8,65 of the Eugene Code, X971, the . <br />sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol-~ owl ng change of sign district <br />. - <br />Tax Lat 60C~-Assessor`s Map 17~-04-~~3~-2 0 Zoned M~-1/SR Limited Industrial <br />. District with Site Review Procedures ~ , as more particularly described on <br />the attached Exhibit "A," located north of River Avenue, east of River <br />.Road. <br />Sign District Boundary Change from Residential District to Outlying <br />Commercial District. <br />Section 2. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause the sign district map and the schedule of sign district <br />classification changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show <br />-. the foregoing change of classification of area and to note thereon the rule with <br />• respect to building in the appropriate classification. - <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
