rnor ~n ~~ ORDINANCE N0. Sy AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.2I5 and Section 8.813 through ~ ~. 8.545 of the Eugene Code, X911, the City Council has the authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change the s i gn district classifications of property within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the materials trans~- mi tted therewith, and the evidence presented ~befare the P1 anni ng Commission and this Council , the request for sign district change of c1 assi fi cati on i s~ i n conformance with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Section 8.834 of the Eugene Code, 1911. ~N4W, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes of June 5, 1919, and the Planning Commission mini#tes of June 5, ~9?9, far the reasons set forth herein, and THE CITY CF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section ~. As provided by ,Section 8.625 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the sign district map and the sign code schedule of district changes are hereby amended to ref 1 ect the fol 1 awi ng change of sign district : Tax Lot 7244-assessor's Map l1~-44~-22-3 2 ~~oned Cwl Neighborhood Commer-~ vial Di stri ct ~ , as more particularly described on the attached Exhi bi t "A," located at the northeast corner of Echo Hollow Road and Fuller Street . Sign District Boundary Change from Residential to Outlying. Commercial Di str~i ct. Section 2. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause the sign district map and the schedule of sign district classification changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregai ng change of class? fi cati on of area and to note thereon the rule with respect to bui 1 di ng i n the appropriate classification.
