ORDINANCE NO. ~~~QO <br />An Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 18417 and initiating <br />the vacation of the following described Public Utility Easement, <br />to--wit: <br />Beginning at a point being South 89°15' East 7.00 <br />feet from the Northwest corner of Lot 3, BLACKSTONE, <br />as platted and recorded in File 73, Slide 185, Lane <br />County Oregon Plat Records; thence South 89°15' East <br />79.81 feet; thence South 0 ° 28' 10" West 7.00 feet; <br />thence North 89°15' West 79.79 feet; thence North <br />0°18'40" East 7.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, <br />in Lane County, Oregon. Hughes Ev 79~-4.} <br />On June 13, 1979, by Ordinance No. 18417, the City Council <br />initiated the vacation of the above described Public Utility <br />Easement and directed that a hearing be held thereon on the 25th <br />day of July, 1979. The hearing was not held on July 25, 1979, <br />and Ordinance 18417 should be repealed and a new hearing scheduled <br />as hereinafter provided. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 18417 adopted and approved on June 13, <br />1979, is hereby repealed. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein <br />initiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without <br />petition or consent of the property owners, except as provided by <br />statute, of the above described Public Utility Easement. <br />Section 3. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to va- <br />Cate the Public Utility Easement as herein provided, and the hear- <br />ing shall be held on the 3rd day of October, 1979, at noon, Pacific <br />Daylight Savings Time of said date, at the Council Chambers at City <br />Ordinance -~ 1 <br />
