ORDINANCE NO . ~ ~ ~~ <br />AN oRDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWING FROM THE <br />JUNCTION CITY WATER CONTROL DI5TRICT OF LANE <br />COUNTY, OREGON, THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT ANNEXED <br />To THE CITY OF EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO 626 OF <br />THE LANE COUNTY LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION <br />oN MAY 3, 1979; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 3231 <br />adopted September 5, 1979, proposed withdrawal from the Junction City <br />Water Control District of that part of the District annexed to the <br />City on May 3, 1979 by Final Order No. 626 of the Lane County Local <br />Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set September 19, 1979 at 12.00 o'clock noon, <br />Pacific Daylight Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, <br />Oregon, as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawal, <br />and directed that notice of the. time and place of the~'hearing be pub- <br />lished once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing <br />and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Eugene Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City, to--wit: On the bulletin <br />board at the City Hall in the City of Eugene, Oregon; on the bulletin <br />board located on the east side of Oak Street where oak and Park Streets <br />intersect; on the bulletin board on the northwest corner of the inter- <br />section of Sth Avenue and oak Street; and on the bulletin board in <br />the first floor lobby of the Lane County Courthouse, all in the City <br />of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />The City desires to assume liability of the District proportionate <br />to the~part of the District that has been annexed to the City. <br />No party has objected to the withdrawal of the annexed territory <br />Ordnance ~ 1 <br />
