Sj,~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE zONING MAP DF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.278 and 9.558 <br />through 9.584 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials trans- <br />muted therew~ th, and the ev Tdence presented before the Planning Commission <br />and this Council , the request far zone change classification i s i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a public need for the change in zone; and the <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Counci 1 hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes <br />of July 24, 1979, and the Planning Commission minutes of July 24, 1979, for the <br />reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN A5 FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9,278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone: <br />Tax Lot 3200--Assessor's Map 11-04w34, as more particularly described on <br />the attached Exhibit "A" , 1 ocated north of Stewart Road <br />Change of zone from RA Suburban Residential District and M-2 Light <br />Industrial District to M-1/SR Limited Industrial District with Site <br />Review procedures, said site review procedures addressing concerns <br />as set forth in Exhibit "B," attached. <br />Section 2, The Planning Director be, and he i s hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district <br />changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, to show the foregoing <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
