Z 1921 <br />02DINANCE N0. ~gSQb <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT. <br />Pursuant td the provisions of ORS 227,215, Section 9.278 and 9.68 <br />.. <br />througi~ 9. ~S~ of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the authority <br />and responsibility, subject to the limi rations contained. therein, to ehan e <br />g <br />.the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the P1 anni ng Commission, the mat~ri al s trans <br />. matted therewi ~.h, and the ev ~dence presented before the Punning Commission <br />and this. Counci ~ , the raquest for zone change cl assi fi cati.on is i n conformance <br />with the General Plan; there is a publ is need for the chan e in zone and the <br />9 <br />public need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adapts as its own the <br />specific afrirmative findings contained in the Punning De artment staff notes <br />p <br />of July 2~, 1979, and the Planning Comm7ss~on minutes of July 24, 119, for the <br />reasons set forth therein, and ~ . <br />THE .CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordnance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone: <br />Tax Lvt 12a1~-Assessor's Map 11~04~35 as more particularly described <br />on the attached Exhibit "A", located east of Bailey Hill Road and north <br />of West 11th Avenue: <br />Change of zone from RA Suburban Residential District and M~-2 Light <br />Industrial District to M~1/SR Limited Industrial District with Site <br />.,Review procedures, said site review procedures addressing concerns <br />as set forth in Exhibit "B," attached. . <br />Section 2, The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to cause the zoning map and .the zoning ordinance schedule of district <br />changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregain <br />9 <br />
