Igs ~~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 221.215 Section 9.278 and 9.668 `{ <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the aut ho rit <br />y y <br />and responsib~l~ty, subject to the 1~m~tat~ons contained therein, to change <br />the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; <br />Based upon the report of the P1 anning Commission, the materials trans- <br />mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this Counci 1, the request for zone change classification i s i n conformance with <br />the General Plan; there i s a public need for the change i n zone; and the public <br />need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department Staff Notes <br />of September 4, 1979, and Planning Commission minutes of September 4, 1979, for <br />the reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fall owi ng change of zone: <br />Tax Lot 100--Assessor's Map 18-03-44-4 4 and a portion of Tax Lot <br />101--Assessor's Map 18-03-43, as more particu1 arty described in <br />the attached Exhibit A, located southeast of the terminus of <br />Augusta Street and south of the terminus of Laurel Hill Drive. <br />Change of zone on Tax Lot 100 from county RA Suburban Residential <br />District to city RA Suburban Residenti a1 District and change of zone <br />a portion of Tax Lot 101 from,. county AGT Agricultural , Grazing, and <br />Timber-Raising District to city RAJPD Suburban Residential District <br />with Planned Unit Development procedures . <br />Section 2. That the zoning designations provided for herein shall <br />become effective upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundary <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page 1 of 2 <br />
