i <br />s n <br />~. <br />~'. <br />A/Z 79-8 <br />;. . <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~"~"~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND <br />AMENDING THE ZONING ~1AP OF YHE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of ORS ~~7.215 Section 9.Z7S and 9.668 <br />through 9.684 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the City Council has the authori <br />~' ., ty <br />and respons~b~~l~ty, subject to the l~m7tat~ons contained therein, to than e <br />9 <br />the zonT ng c1 assn fi cati an of property w7 thin the City of ~ Eugene; . <br />Based upon the report of the Planning Commi ssi on, the materials trans~- <br />m~tted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and <br />this Council, the request for zone change classification is in conformance with <br />the General Plan; there is a public need far the change in zone; and the ublic <br />p <br />need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific affirmative findings contained i n the Planning Department Staff Notes <br />of September 4, 1919, and Planning Commi ssi on minutes of September 4 1979 far <br />the reasons set forth therein, and <br />. THE CITY OF EUGENE~DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. As provided by~ Section 9.218 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zon7 ng map and the zone ng ord~ Hance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the fol 1 owi ng change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 400, 500, and 3SD0--Assessor's Map 15-03-~0-0 D and <br />Tax Lot 1400--Assessor's Map 18-03-21-0 0, as more particularly <br />described in the attached Exhibit A, located south of Martin Drive <br />between West Amazon Drive and Center Way, <br />Change of City zoning from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, and <br />Timber~Rai si ng District, to City R~-1/PD Si ngl e~Fami 1y Residential <br />District with Planned Unit Development`Procedures Tax Lots 4O0 <br />and 500} and R-1 Single~Family Residential District Tax Lots <br />3500 and 1400}. <br />Section 2. That the zoning designations provided far herein shall <br />become of ect7ve upon entry of a Final Order of the Lane County Boundar <br />y <br />Commission annexing territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. <br />ORDINANCE--Page l of 2 <br />
