185z~ <br />ExHTBIT "A" <br />Restrictions - Historic Landmark {H 79-~1~ <br />Standards Section: <br />Alteration of the exterior of the First Congregational Church <br />shall be subject to review by the Historic Review Board as pro- <br />vided in Section 2.409 of the City Code. Proposed alterations <br />shall be in character with the structure's original exterior yr <br />the California Mission style of architecture. <br />Re airs and Maintenance Section: <br />The repair and maintenance of exterior detailing with material <br />and craftsmanship that duplicate the original or replace existing <br />in compositions design, texture, color, and the other. visual quali-- <br />ties shall be permitted without an alteration permit. For all <br />other changes, an alteration permit shall be required as specified <br />in Section 2.409 of the City Code. <br />Use Section; <br />Although the site and structure are generally appropriate <br />for commercial and residential uses allowed under its C~-2 Community <br />Commercial zonings a number of uses. specifically allowed in the C~-2 <br />zone are not compatible with preservation of the distinctive quali- <br />ties of the structure and sites theref are the following mare limited <br />list of uses are permitted as hereinafter specif icaaly provided, <br />which is attached as Schedule "1" hereto, subject to the general <br />provisions and exceptions set forth in the Eugene Code, 1971, <br />beginning with and following Section 9.532 thereof. <br />Modifications Section: <br />Landmark designation of the First Congregational Church shall <br />not affect zoning and sign regulations. <br />Exhlblt "A". <br />
