J <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ gS3'~' <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PROHIBITION OF vEHICULAR <br />PARKING IN BICYCLE LANES; AMENDING SECTION 5.225 <br />- ~ OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1911; AND DECLARING AN EMER- <br />GE NCY . <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~1} of Section 5.225 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is <br />hereby amended by addi ng a new subparagraph ~ i } thereto, to read and <br />provide <br />5.225 Prohibited Parking and Standing; Exceptions. <br />~1 ~ <br />~i} A vehicle in a bicycle lane, unless there is at least <br />_ 3.5 feet of unobstructed bicycle lane between the parked vehicle <br />and the nearest vehicular lane. <br />Sect i an 2 .
