Z ~~9-31 ORDINANCE N0. ~~5~] AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING LAND USE CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON ~~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.275 and 9,65 through 9.584 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Council has the. authority and responsibility, subject to the limitations contained therein, to change - the zoning classification of property within the City of Eugene; Based u on the re ort of the Plannin Commission the materials trans-~ p p g mitted therewith, and the evidence presented before the Planning Commission and this Council, the request far zone change classification is in conformance . with the General Plan; there is a publ is need for the change in zone; and the ~pub1 is need can best be served by changing the classification of the property; NOW, THEREFORE, .Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in ,the Planning Department staff notes of December 4, 1979, and the P1 anning Commission minutes of December ~~, 1979, for the reasons set forth therein, and . THE CITY 4F EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FaL~LOWS: Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby amended to reflect the following change of zone: Tax Lat 4:600--Assessor's Map 17-04-35-33, as more particu-larty described ors th.e attached Exhibit "A" , 1 oc ated east of Bai 1 ey H i 11 Road between West 11th Avenue and West l8th Avenue: Change of zone from RA. Suburban Residential District to R-21SR Limited Multiple-Family Residential District with Site Review Procedures, said site. review procedures addressing concerns as set forth in Exhibit "B", attached. Section 2. The Planning Director be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause the zoning map and the zoning ordinance schedule of distriet- changes attached to Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, to show the foregoing..
