Pursuant to the provisions of ORS 227.215, Section 9.275 and 9.668 <br />. through 9.68 of the Eugene Code, 1971., the City Council has the authority <br />and responsi bi ~ i ty, subJec t to the 1 imi tati ons contained therein, to change <br />the zan i ng c # ass i f i c at i on of ~ property within the City of Eugene; <br />Base upah the repot o f the Pi anni ng Coma i ss i on, the r~ateri al s trans- <br />mi tted therewi tr, and tote ev E~dence presentedf before the Planning Cammi ssian <br />and this Co~tncl, the. ~apuest for zone change classification is in conformance <br />with the General Plan; there i s a publ i c need for the change i n zone; and the <br />public need c?n ,best be served. by changing the classification of the property; <br />NO~f, THEREFORE, <br />Based upon the foreJoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the <br />specific off i r~mat i ve findings contained i n the Planning Department staff notes <br />of .January ~8, ? 980, and the Planning .Commission r~i nut~es January 28, 1980, far <br />tnz reasons set forth therein, and <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />~~ Section 1. As provided by Section 9.278 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the <br />zani ng map and the zani ng ordinance schedule of district changes are hereby <br />amended to reflect the following change of zone: <br />Tax Lots 2600, 2601, 2602--Assessor's Map 17-03--18, Tax Lot 9D0~--~Assessei~'s <br />Map ~7w03~i9, Portion of Tax Lot 2DO--Assessor`s Map 17-0424 <br />As more particularly described on the attached Exhibit A, 1 ocated <br />east of Goodpasture Island Road, generally south of K-Mart, and north of <br />the intersection of dal 1 ey River Drive and Goodpasture Island Road . <br />Change of zone from County AGT, Agricultural , Grazing, and Timber Raising <br />District to City R-2 PD, Limited Multiple-Family ,Residential District with <br />,Planned Unit Development Procedures. <br />ORDI~~ANCF--Page 1 of 2 <br />
