AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING SIGN DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND AMENDING THE SIGN DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT: .~ Pursuant to the provisions of OR5 227.215 and Section 8.813 through 8.845 of the Eugene Code, 1911, the City Counci 1 has the authority and reasons ibi 1 i t subject to the limitations contained ~ y' therein, to change the sign district class- . fications of pra~perty within the City of Eugene; Based upon the report of the Planning Commission, the materials transmitted therewith, and the evi Bence presented before the Planning Commission and th i s *~~ Council , the request for sign district change of classification is in conformance . with the intent and purpose of the Sign Code as required by Sect ion S.83O of the Eugene Code, 1971. NOW, THEREFORE, Based upon the foregoing, the City Council hereby adopts as its own the specific affirmative findings contained in the Planning Department staff Hates of Novemberw 6, 1979, and the Pl anninq Commission minutes of November 6 1979 for . the reasons set forth herein, and ' THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
